The chosen borderline case is represented by the exploration of those profiles that remain active after the user&#8217;s disappearance and by the relationship that develops in relation to these digital identities, kept alive by those who remain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea came from the group&#8217;s communal need to comprehend this new form of absence, to comprehend dynamics such as placing flowers-comments on the headstone-profiles of loved ones who have passed away, searching for their presence in posts and photographs, seeking that last &#8220;share&#8221; which marks the boundary between before and after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"P2P - DA PERSONE A PROFILI, nuove forme di mancanza nell&#039;era social\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/693518643?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The performance&#8217;s main characters, freely inspired by Facebook profiles of missing persons, are outlined by the words of Laura Accerboni through a poetic journey of their imprisonment within the limits of their latest photos, shares, and comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The poems took shape through Margherita Landi&#8217;s choreography while being turned into a three-dimensional ghost by Giovanni Landi&#8217;s digital elaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The audience is invited to frame the scene-marker with a purposely provided iPad: the first character, visible only on screen, will move in a real environment and tell his personal path and dimension through gestures, words, and music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the performance, similarly to the profiles of missing persons (where movements and updates are only due to those who still seek them) the movements of the virtual tracks are only due to the viewer&#8217;s willingness to watch.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/goldworld.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/12032021_1679974898885601_979614981804588245_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-251353\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goldworld.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/12032021_1679974898885601_979614981804588245_n.jpg 640w, https:\/\/goldworld.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/12032021_1679974898885601_979614981804588245_n-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Conception and Direction: Giovanni Landi and Milena Fois<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poems and Photos: Laura Accerboni<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choreography: Margherita Landi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Performer: Milena Fois, Margherita Landi, Paolo Laponti and Giulio Venturini<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Music: Shinjin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project has been realized with the endorsment of the Compagnia di San Paolo in the context of Scene allo sBando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Co-produced by il Vivaio del Malcantone of Florence under the patronage of the Foundation Homo Ex Machina Onlus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;New forms of loss in the digital era&#8221; P2P &#8211; from People to Profiles is a digital performance developed by the Kokoro collective The project originates from a reflection on the absence of the physical body in social relations.
